Frequently Asked Questions

What are the signs I need therapy?

While everyone’s experience is different, if your emotions, thoughts, or behaviors are interfering with your daily life, work, and relationships, it may be a sign that therapy could help.

Some common signs you might need therapy include:

How do I find what therapy I need?

To find out what kind of therapy you need, start by considering your current struggles, goals, and preferences. Think about what’s causing you distress, what you’d like to accomplish, and what matters most to you as you begin this journey.

If you end up with more questions than answers, don’t worry—we’re here to help you explore your options, clear up any doubts, and find the therapist and approach that feel right for you. You don’t have to figure it out on your own.

How often should I go to therapy?

When you first start therapy, we recommend committing to weekly sessions for approximately 8–15 weeks. This gives us the time to build a strong therapeutic relationship and create the consistency, trust, and momentum needed to explore your challenges and make meaningful progress together.

Do you take insurance?

We are out-of-network (OON) providers and do not currently accept insurance. However, depending on your plan, you may be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement. Visit our Fees & Insurance page to use our Mentaya tool and see whether you qualify for reimbursement for our services.

To learn more about why we don’t accept insurance, click here.

How much does therapy cost?

Our session rates range from $110 to $135.

We believe therapy is a short-term commitment with long-term benefits, making it a meaningful investment in yourself and your future. Our goal is to work ourselves out of a job. Meaning, to get you the help you need and get you feeling better as quickly as possible.
