Is your child struggling with their behaviors? Do they often feel overwhelmed, and it comes out in anger or sadness? Do they seem to be more negative toward themselves and others?
I help teens and young adults navigate the overwhelm and pressure that come with everyday life. My goal is to create a space where they feel safe to face life’s challenges head-on and develop the tools to manage the world around them.
How I Can Help You
I see the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative effort between the client and therapist, working together to establish, modify, and achieve the client’s goals for therapy.
I provide a warm, welcoming space for clients to freely express themselves without fear of judgment. I’m personable and laid-back, but I am also not afraid to challenge clients when necessary.
For clients who wish to include their faith or spiritual beliefs as part of their therapeutic process, I enjoy integrating discussions about these topics and helping people grow and heal through them.
Treatment Approaches:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Strengths-Based Therapy
- Person-Centered Therapy
- Faith-Integrated Therapy (upon request)

What You Can Expect in Therapy
I create a warm, welcoming space where clients can show up exactly as they are. This is especially important for teens who are still trying to figure out their purpose and place in this world.
Together, we’ll work collaboratively to identify unhelpful thought patterns and replace those with healthier thoughts. I also help clients improve communication skills and coping skills that help them manage their feelings.
I strive to create a relaxed and supportive space in our sessions, but I’m also not afraid to gently challenge you when it will help you grow. My goal is to help you build your resilience and get your confidence back.
Outside the Therapy Room
When I’m out of the office and have free time, I enjoy listening to music, typically metal.
I like to keep up with sports, especially the MLB and NFL, and I root for the Reds and the Colts.
I also spend a lot of time with my girlfriend and my friends.
