Do you find yourself shutting down after stimulating days or feel like your nervous system is “humming,” making it difficult to calm down? You might feel sad because everything just seems like too much, like you’re too much. Sometimes this shows up as anxiety or depression, especially when you’re bored or disconnected from the people around you.
You feel misunderstood and different, but you can’t find the words to explain it. People tell you you’re “too sensitive” or “too much,” and you’ve started to believe that your sensitivity is a weakness. You struggle to explain why certain environments, textures, sounds, or social situations completely overwhelm you, leaving you feeling like you can’t function in a world that seems designed for everyone else.
You’re not broken—you’re wired differently, and that’s actually a gift. I specialize in helping highly sensitive people go from feeling overwhelmed and shut down to empowered and in control. Because highly sensitive people are more likely to experience trauma, I understand the unique intersection between sensitivity and trauma processing. I’ll help you find the language to describe your high sensitivity to others, identify the specific pain points your sensitivity has caused, and create healthy boundaries and coping skills that protect you as you heal.
