Currently accepting new clients for in-person or telehealth appointments in the Greenwood and Martinsville locations.

Are you a teen struggling with things you don’t understand, and every conversation feels like a battle? Maybe you’re dealing with self-harm, trauma, ADHD, stress in school, or relationship issues with your family. Perhaps you feel invisible at home, like your parents don’t hear what you’re actually trying to say, and nothing you do seems right in their eyes.

You’re trying to figure out who you are and what you believe, but it feels like everyone has an opinion about that except you.

You need a space that’s just yours. A place where you can say what you really think and feel without being judged or facing consequences. A place where someone actually listens to understand you, not to fix you or prove you wrong.

Seeking help takes courage, and I’m honored to walk alongside you as you work through difficult things. I’m here to celebrate your successes and create space to process challenging emotions without shame. Most importantly, you are never judged in my office. You are safe to be exactly who you are.

How I Can Help You

The therapy hour is your time. You get to decide what we talk about and what you want to work on, even if it’s different from what your parents think you need help with.

I’m here to help you develop coping skills and communication strategies that actually work for you, so you can feel more in control of your life and your relationships.

My approach is direct and gentle, and we will work together to help you develop practical skills for managing challenges and building resilience.

As someone who values faith, I am open to incorporating faith into your therapy session, but I also know that you may have questions or ideas about faith that are different from your parents. No matter where you are in your faith, I will meet you where you are without overwhelming you.

Treatment Approaches:

  • Motivational Interviewing (MI)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Trauma-Focused CBT
  • Mindfulness-Based Techniques

Taking the first step can feel intimidating, but you can come out the other side of your story with renewed strength and purpose. Schedule a brief call with our Intake Coordinator to guide you forward.

What You Can Expect in Therapy

Therapy doesn’t need to be something that is hard and confusing like almost everything else in your life. I believe in providing a safe, judgment-free space to process difficult emotions and experiences.

I help you feel comfortable and safe so that you can learn coping skills and communication strategies that actually work. Through the therapy process, I will help you gain confidence and have a greater sense of control over your life choices.

When working with families, I help them find a renewed connection and understanding between parents and teens with fewer conflicts. Parents learn how to support their teen more effectively while the teen feels respected and heard.

I bring warmth, genuine care, and vibrant energy into our work together. I believe in building real connection, whether that’s through games, creative activities, or just having authentic conversations. My approach is person-centered and non-judgmental; I treat my clients like I would treat a friend, valuing their thoughts and feelings and respecting their perspective.

Outside the Therapy Room

I like to bake my family’s famous chocolate chip cookies. Another favorite is a s’mores truffle recipe I found on Pinterest several years ago.

I like to walk and hike, especially at Indiana State Parks such as Brown County, Turkey Run, and McCormick’s Creek.

I love listening to music of all types, especially rock, alternative, pop, and Christian.
